10 NASCAR Cup Series Drivers
to Watch in 2025
Keep your eyes on the wheel(s).
There ain’t nothin’ like a NASCAR race. From the roar of the engines to the electric atmosphere, Race Day is unlike anything else in the professional sports stratosphere. As you may know by now, GOVX is an Official Partner of NASCAR, and we have the distinct privilege of serving as the Title Sponsor of the GOVX 200 on March 8th at the Phoenix Raceway. What can we say? When you get a chance to see your name next to a motorsport institution, you take it every time.
With that said, we’re hyped to bring members like you discounted tickets of up to 50% off to tracks nationwide in 2025 through the NASCAR Miltix program. The 2025 season is just getting started, here’s a quick look at the drivers we're picking to lead the pack.
10 | JUSTIN HALEY
New to Spire Motorsports after a memorable stint rising up the NASCAR ranks with Rick Ware Racing, the Indiana native seeks to take a major leap forward in 2025.
One of the more strategically sound drivers in the sport, Haley has notched major victories in Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races. Most notably the 2019 Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, where he battled inclement weather to win.
09 | JOSH BERRY
Car: No.21. Ford Mustang Dark Horse
Team: Wood Brothers Racing
Crew Chief: Miles Stanley
The all-time wins leader in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, Berry has taken his talents to NASCAR securing five victories and 52 top-ten finishes in the Xfinity Series and seven top-ten finishes in the Cup Series.
A formidable driver on shorter tracks, Berry’s fiery nature and will to win should serve him well as the season progresses.
08 | RILEY HERBST
Fresh off his epic last-lap victory at last year’s Xfinity Series Pennzoil 250, Herbst has his goals set even higher this season.
One of the more eclectic and versatile drivers on the track, the 26-year old has found success in both stock car and off-road events, competing in 2023 and 2024 in the Baja 1000.
07 | ZANE SMITH
Mr. Smith and Front Row Motorsports are always a welcome sight at any race, thanks to his smooth style behind the wheel and ability to outlast the competition as the laps stretch on.
Winner of the 2022 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship and owner of multiple playoff appearances, it's safe to say that Smith is securely entering his peak as one of the more well-rounded drivers in the sport.
06 | RYAN BLANEY
If you’re looking for a driver who knows all about the highs and lows of NASCAR, look no further than Blaney. The man in the Mustang has both suffered through a 59-race winless streak in his career and completely dominated the track at the inaugural Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway in 2024, where he led a career-high 201 laps.
The veteran driver has also collaborated with Team Penske on vehicle development and race strategy,
05 | DENNY HAMLIN
You never bet against a legend. After 54 Cup Series victories, the veteran driver is still chasing that elusive championship.
A co-owner of the 23XL team alongside basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, Hamlin has maintained a high standard of performance over his 18-year career, and recent Cup results show he still has plenty left in the tank.
04 | KYLE BUSCH
Ol' Rowdy is going to talk his smack, and he’s going to back it up on the track, you can be sure of that.
Of course, when you’re the record holder for most wins across NASCAR’s three national series, you’re got the freedom to be as cocky as you want to be.
A relentless competitor, KB is a safe bet to continue his legacy as one NASCAR’s most polarizing and successful drivers.
03 | KYLE LARSON
Based on his recent Brickyard 400 and Southern 500 victories, the 2021 Cup Series champ ain’t showing any signs of slowing down soon.
Famous for his aggressive yet calculating driving style, Larson is unparalleled in his ability to navigate through the pack, minimize risks, and make his move when it matters most.
02 | SHANE VAN GISBERGEN
This Kiwi can do more than just cruise. Making the switch from a successful Supercars career to NASCAR, SVG became the first driver in the modern era to claim victory in their first Cup Series start by winning the inaugural race at the Chicago Street Course in 2023.
One of the more enthusiastic drivers around, van Gisbergen is set to turn in his first season driving under Trackhouse Racing in 2025.
01 | CHASE BRISCOE
No. 19 got his season off to a solid start by earning pole position at the recent Daytona 500, making history by securing Toyota’s first ever pole in the race.
A consistent top-tier performer, Briscoe has racked up 32 top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Cup Series. Now cemented in NASCAR’s elite ranks, “Risky” has his own way of rising to the challenge when the whole world is watching.
