GOVX is Now an Official Partner of

the Anaheim Ducks

Here in SoCal, we consider our area a bit of an underrated hotbed for pro hockey. In the lower ranks, we’ve got our hometown San Diego Gulls, plus the Coachella Valley Firebirds and Ontario Reign bringing the heat to the ice in the AHL. On the big-league side, we’ve got the Los Angeles Kings and of course, proudly repping Orange County – the Anaheim Ducks. With that said, we here at GOVX are honored for the opportunity to announce our position as an Official Partner of the Anaheim Ducks and Presenting Sponsor of the Salute to Those Who Serve program for the 2025-26 NHL season.

A TEAM ON THE RISE

As it currently stands, the Ducks have spent a majority of the season duking it out near the top of the Pacific Division with the Edmonton Oilers and Las Vegas Golden Knights for Western Conference supremacy.

Looking every part the playoff contender, Coach Q’s crew is spearheaded by the “Ducklings” core, a powerful infusion of young point-registering talent led by Leo Carlsson, Mason McTavish, and Cutter Gauthier.

HISTORY ROOTED IN HOLLYWOOD

You remember that iconic junior hockey trilogy, don’t you? The duck whistle, the birth of the “Flying V”, the Bash Brothers, Charlie Conway’s Triple Deke, the Knucklepuck, Team USA, Goldberg the Goalie, and of course, the always inspiring “Ducks Fly Together” rally speech.

The Mighty Ducks movies left a major mark on American culture and ignited the creation of one of the most marketable sports franchises of our generation. Under the original ownership of Disney, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks accounted for roughly 80% of all NHL merchandise sales during their inaugural 1993-94 season. Who knew that a Duck hockey mask logo would become such a massive hit?

GOAL ACCOMPLISHED: 2017 STANLEY CUP CHAMPS

In a state populated by Sharks and Kings, it comes as somewhat of a surprise that the Ducks beat the other teams to the punch by becoming the first California-based team to claim an NHL championship in 2007.

Embracing a new identity by dropping the “Mighty” from their name and exchanging eggplant and jade for black and orange hues, Ducks GOATs Teemu Selanne and Ryan Getzlaf cemented their place in NHL history by bringing a championship to Anaheim.

A LEGACY OF SUPPORT

Honoring those who serve and protect our country and communities is a massive part of the Ducks' culture. Through their longstanding “Heroes Night” series, they’ve created one of the most structured appreciation programs in the league. As a team within driving distance of 12 active military bases or stations, it’s not unusual at all to see the Honda Arena packed to the rafters with uniformed pros of past and present.

Dedicating specific home games every season to first responders and service members, the Ducks Heroes Night schedule includes:

  • Military Appreciation Night: The flagship event (often held in November) where the team honors active duty, reserve, and veterans.

  • Law Enforcement Appreciation Night: Honoring local police and peace officers.

  • Fire & Rescue Appreciation Night: Focused on firefighters and EMTs.

  • Healthcare Professionals Appreciation Night: Saluting doctors, nurses, and medical staff.

As previously mentioned, GOVX will operate as the Presenting Sponsor of the Salute to Those Who Serve Program for the remainder of the season. The pre-game program honors a local servicemember or veteran before every single home game.

DUCKS TICKET DISCOUNTS ON GOVX

As a benefit of the partnership, the GOVX community is now eligible to save up to 20% off Ducks home games all season long.
