GOVX is Now a Proud Partner of the Carolina Hurricanes
Teaming up with the
2-time champs.
It’s a bit of an open secret, but in the sports stratosphere, the South is a hockey hotbed. As the defending NHL champions, the Carolina Hurricanes are currently on a mission to repeat, and we here at GOVX are honored to officially be along for the ride.
Now entrenched as a Proud Partner of the Carolina Hurricanes, GOVX will serve as the presenting sponsor for Military Appreciation Night and the ongoing Hero of the Game program before every Canes home game for the 2026-27 season. This multi-year partnership is now live, so let's do this.
Here's The Details:
THE CHAMPIONSHIP DROUGHT IS OVER.
WHO’S NEXT?
After years of postseason heartbreak, the Carolina Hurricanes finally broke through to capture the Cup, navigating through the playoffs with a dominant 16–3 record and putting their past Eastern Conference Final struggles to rest.
The Canes relied on balanced scoring across four lines rather than a single superstar, suffocating team defense, and a resilient "next-man-up" mindset that propelled them to the finish. Even with major injuries along the blueline, the Hurricanes steamrolled through the postseason powered by the most potent offense of the Rod Brind’Amour era, highlighted by seven 20-goal scorers in Seth Jarvis, Andrei Svechnikov, Sebastian Aho, Nikolaj Ehlers, Logan Stankoven, Jackson Blake, and Jordan Staal.
Ready to defend the crown, The Canes are clear favorites this season to bring another championship back to North Carolina despite the departure of goalie Frederik Anderson. With the entire offensive core ready to run it back and a relentless defense, Carolina will be a force to be reckoned with all-season long.
IN SUPPORT OF SERVICE
Since relocating to Raleigh in 1997, the Hurricanes organization has fostered deep connections to both the military and first responder communities, largely driven by North Carolina's massive military footprint, including Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), Camp Lejeune, and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Through community outreach, dedicated appreciation nights, in-game honors, charitable initiatives, and exclusive discounts, the Canes remain committed to those who serve our country and communities.
MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT PRESENTED BY GOVX
Celebrating service, sacrifice, and family. The Hurricanes Military Appreciation Night is a dedicated evening where the community unites to recognize our active military members, veterans, and military families. This season’s game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27th as the Canes battle it out with the Dallas Stars at the Lenovo Center.
HERO OF THE GAME SPONSORED BY GOVX
During Hurricanes home games at the Lenovo Center, the team routinely highlights an active service member or local first responder during a live arena salute. This poignant moment gives fans and players the opportunity to express their gratitude during a designated stoppage in play.
HURRICANES TICKET DISCOUNTS
As a benefit of the partnership, the GOVX community are now eligible to save on tickets to Canes home games all season long.
