Back in 2015, a simple protocol was initiated: connect the GOVX community with the causes that matter most to them and offer a way to get involved. So began the GOVX Gives Back initiative and set us collectively on a decade-plus journey of driving meaningful contributions on behalf of this great nation’s military and first responder non-profits. Today, the initiative is further augmented by a growing brand list of matching donation partners, who month-after-month answer the call to match the the donation generated and help make an even greater difference.
Kicking off 2026 in grand fashion, the GOVX Gives Back initiative has now driven over $3 MILLION in donations for those in need. It’s a mighty threshold to cross, and one which conjures up tremendous feelings of pride and gratitude.
Of course at the heart of it all, are members like you. When you get down to it, you’re the engine behind all the support. Every time you make an order on GOVX.com, a portion of the proceeds are donating to that month’s non-profit. That’s shopping with a purpose – and that’s backing your fellow Americans.
With that said, in honor of the $3 million benchmark being hit, we’d thought it was time to look back at all the good that got us here.
2025 IN REVIEW
In many respects, 2025 represented a quantum leap in terms of the level of support delivered. Building off the success of donation-driven contests organized in conjunction with our generous brand partners, the year featured an uptick in ways to involve and reward the GOVX community for giving back. Here's the highlights.
January 2025
GOVX x Margaritaville at Sea: 5-Night Cruise Package Giveaway
In support of Hire Heroes USA
The calendar year started with an escape to paradise. This giveaway gave GOVX members the opportunity to win a 5-night Margaritaville at Sea cruise aboard the all-new Islander ship by donating to the military non-profit Hire Heroes USA. The total donations eclipsed over $10,000.
GOVX x The Gary Sinise Foundation: LA Firefighter Fundraiser
In support of LA County Firefighters
Assisting those who bravely fought the Eaton and Palisades Fires in the Malibu-area, GOVX stepped up to match $25,000 in donations alongside The Gary Sinise Foundation to drive essential aid and critical resources during a time of crisis.
March 2025
GOVX: Fly Fishing Trip Giveaway
In support of Higher Ground
Featuring a grand prize giveaway of a guided 3-night, 2-day fly fishing tour in Sun Valley, Idaho for one lucky winner, this campaign drove over $4,400 in support for Higher Ground, the military and first responder non-profit dedicated to therapeutic recreation and education.
June 2025
GOVX x Hass Racing Team x Pit Boss: NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs VIP Trip Giveaway
In support of Workshop for Warriors
There’s more than one way to drive support. GOVX members competed for a shot to win a 2-night VIP trip experience for two, plus a meet and greet with 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Cup champ Cole Custer at the Yellawood 500 Cup Series Playoffs. Contestants entered by making a donation to Workshop for Warriors, the military non-profit aiming to rebuild American manufacturing one Veteran at a time. Ultimately, this giveaway generated over $6,000 in donations.
August 2025
GOVX: 99th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Trip Giveaway
In support of First Responders Children's Foundation
2025 marked the second consecutive year that a GOVX member would have the grand opportunity of claiming an all-expenses paid VIP trip to New York City for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This donation-based giveaway was created to drive financial support for children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances.
