A Look Back:
The 2025 Memorial Day Flag Remembrance Garden Presented by GOVX
Honoring South Florida’s fallen military heroes.
Over the weekend of May 24th, thousands of proud Americans flocked to Miami Beach for two full days of freedom flyovers, tactical sea power showcases, motocross mayhem, and spectacular interactive military displays from every branch of the United States military.
Located just off historic Ocean Drive in the FLP Display Village, we at GOVX had the distinction of presenting the 2025 Memorial Day Flag Remembrance Garden. A heartfelt salute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, 3,000 American flags were displayed in recognition of 3,000 lives lost in service to the country.
Each flag is representative of a fallen South Florida resident and service member. Commemorating a life dedicated to defending this country and those who call it home. From the fight for independence and the Revolutionary War to the Global War on Terror and every era in between.
“At GOVX, we believe remembrance should be visible, powerful, and personal,” said Alan Cole, GOVX CEO. “The 2025 Memorial Day Flag Remembrance Garden stands as a living tribute to the brave men and women who gave everything in service to this nation. It’s our duty and privilege to ensure these heroes are never forgotten.”
Completely free to the public, the event was made possible by volunteers from the Veterans of Foreign Wars who came together to work tirelessly to plant each flag in the days leading up to the event. The ongoing mission of the VHW is to support and advocate for the well-being of veterans, service members, and their families.
